Adobe Systems
Adobe Systems helped launch the desktop publishing revolution in 1982 with design software that make it possible for customers to create, manage, and deliver visually rich publications. With a strong corporate brand identity to protect and a commitment to producing only superior content, it was important to Adobe to provide its sales team with access to only the most current, pre-approved presentation materials. Adobe chose Librarian to give employees instant access to a pre-approved Library of presentations, templates, slides, corporate logos, product images and marketing resources.

Avaya
When Avaya, a leading worldwide provider of voice communications systems and services, needed a presentation asset management solution for its nine domestic and five international Customer Briefing Centers, they turned to Librarian Enterprise Edition. Critical to the success of the Customer Briefing Program is the ability to rapidly disseminate current training and product presentation material from the Denver location to specialists at briefing centers on six continents. Librarian transformed what was a static catalog of material into a searchable knowledge base of information, giving Avaya's briefers worldwide access to up-to-the-minute material - and eliminating potential oversights, extensive proofreading and time-consuming updates.

Wi-Fi Alliance
Wi-Fi Alliance, a nonprofit international association formed in 1999 to certify interoperability of wireless Local Area Network products based on IEEE 802.11 specification, needed a way to provide support for the documents that were available on their web for their worldwide membership. They needed a system that would support a distributed administration network, easy worldwide distribution to their membership and secure documents. The system in place was fairly inefficient, requiring a great deal of administrative time and effort emailing documents among administrators and then emailing the final document to a main administrator to be placed on the web. Documents were then placed in web-enabled folders that weren't secure. The Wi-Fi Alliance organization had a need to have administrators that are distributed through out the world be able to easily upload and manage documents that are available on the Wi-Fi Alliance members web site. Using the Librarian API (Application Programmer's Interface)allowed the Wi-Fi Alliance to tie directly into Librarian and provide a backend that allowed administrators to easily upload, categorize and publish files for web use.
